A Colt 45 SAA Nickel revolver in excellent original condition, made in 1887, and shipped in 1890.

It was a one-gun shipment, usually indicating a special order. The serial number is 121931, with a 7 ½” barrel, full factory nickel finish, and standard hard rubber (eagle) grips. A factory letter, included, confirms all features. However, the grips are not listed. Shipped to Kennedy & Curtis, Philadelphia, PA, on July 2, 1890, one gun in shipment.

Colt 45 SAA – Condition

The revolver remains in beautiful condition with 85-95% original bright nickel. The cylinder shows most of the flaking of the nickel and some flaking at the bottom of the grip. Metal surfaces are crisp and excellent overall, with good sharp markings and sharp edges. All the serial numbers match in all the correct locations. The action is tight and functions flawlessly, and the bore is fine. The front sight is its original height. Also, the original eagle grips are excellent and fit the gun perfectly.

A very attractive black powder single action revolver in every respect.
