An OPENED, picture box, of antique 38 Long Colt ammo, circa 1880’s. It’s a Winchester Brand box, with a picture of a Colt 1877 Lightning, double action revolver on the top label.

The box is in excellent condition overall, just showing some light age soiling. The top green label is near perfect and all the yellow side wrap is intact – just cut for opening.

There is a pencil, or ink, marking “R.F.” on both ends of the box – meaning ??? All the original cartridges are present and also in excellent condition. The box is solid with no split seams.

This is a great box to display with an early Colt 1877 Lightning double action revolver.

Covered with plastic wrap for protection.
