Colt 1892 38 US Rig

Circa 1905

A great piece of western leather is our Colt 1892 38 US Rig.

These rigs were for the newly adopted Colt New Model Army & Navy .38 caliber revolvers, from 1892 – 1907. This rig, both holster and belt are in overall excellent condition – showing no damage, modifications, or losses.

THE HOLSTER is brown colored leather with the prominent “US” stamping on the front and the brass lanyard on the toe plug. There is an inspection stamp “O.J.W.” at the bottom of the flap. Also, the back of the belt loop is marked “Rock Island Arsenal, 1905, H.E.K.”. All the stitching is solid and intact.
