Colt 1877 D.A. Revolver

.38 Caliber, Made in 1901

An excellent Colt 1877 DA revolver, .38 caliber, 4 ½” barrel, made in 1901. Its serial #122504, with all matching numbers in all the correct locations.

Revolver Condition

It is in excellent overall condition, showing 85% of the original blue finish and nice case colors on the frame, hammer and trigger. The original rubber grips fit perfect and show no wear. Most of the bluing loss is on the ejector rod housing and grip straps. All the markings are sharp and clear. The action is good, working in both double and single action. Also, the cylinder locks up tight. The bore shows strong rifling with minor erosion from black powder use. A very nice, un-touched, high condition, blued finish, 1877 Double Action revolver in great condition.
